‘Climate Shakira’ Eco Activist Feeds Jail Notice To Donkey

This is the moment an eco-activist dubbed ‘Climate Shakira’ shows she thinks the law really is an ass as she feeds a legal jail notice to a donkey.

Protestor Anja Windl, 27, had been sent documents announcing plans for her detention as punishment for her role in a series of traffic-stopping eco protests across Austria.

Video footage emerged showing Windl, who bears a stunning resemblance to ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ star Shakira, feeding the notice to an apparently grateful ass.

Under local law detention orders can be issued to suspects on the recommendation of police which means they can be jailed for short sentences without trial or a criminal record.

In the bizarre clip from 22nd May, filmed by Windl, she’s shown feeding the notice to a donkey named Lara as she asked it questions.

She says: “I brought Lara something. Yes, look, does the detention order taste good?

“It doesn’t taste that bad, does it? But it’s a bit sh*t! What are we going to do with it now?”

Psychology student Windl added: “I don’t think I can serve the detention. The donkey ate it. Nothing can be done about it.”

But the clip titled ‘I think eating the detention order is legitimate’ sparked a massive backlash on Instagram.

One user ‘@megalfragola’ said: “And you think it’s a smart idea to feed printed paper to an animal?”

Another ‘@jacquelin.sxs’ commented: “Why don’t you eat it? It surely wouldn’t harm you with the crunch you have.”

And ‘@black_cat_sweet3’ added: “Get out of Austria climate terrorist.”

Local media reported that the fact the donkey had eaten the notice of detention would not affect it being enforced, but she does have an appeal against the order, which will delay things until it can be heard.
