Cops Arrest Thief Who Stole More Than 150 Pairs Of Women’s Undies, Bras And Bikinis
A man has been arrested after he stole more than 150 pairs of women’s underwear, bras and swimwear from their backyards.
Police in the city of Graz, Styria State, Austria, had reportedly searched for the 24-year-old man – identity not disclosed – for weeks before they finally caught him on Tuesday morning, 19th July.
His actions were reportedly first reported at the beginning of June this year, when cops at the Wienerstrasse Street station received several reports from women that their bikinis were missing.
Wienerstrasse Police inspectors along with their colleagues from the Styrian Criminal Police office then carried out detailed investigations that led them to the offender’s home.
And they were stunned to discover the massive stash of underwear and bras he had collected by breaching into private people’s gardens and taking them from drying racks.
State Police Headquarters Styria said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “The public prosecutor’s office in Graz then ordered a court-approved search of the man’s house.
“A total of around 150 items of women’s underwear and women’s swimwear were seized from the 24-year-old.
“Some thefts have already been resolved.”
They continued: “The thefts that have been clarified so far were mainly limited to the Graz district of Goesting.
“He stole women’s underwear and swimwear hanging out to dry.”
Police asked victims whose items were stolen to reach them by phone in order to provide information regarding the case.
It was not disclosed whether the man would face prosecution.
